Unchained Tours Terms and Conditions
Deposit: -
A non refundable deposit of £100 for all tours is payable with a completed booking form to ensure a place is reserved in your name.
A booking confirmation will be issued showing the date the balance is due and tours booked within 60days of departure must be paid in full.
Please take note late payment of balance may result in the loss of your deposit and cancelation of your tour.
Surcharges: -
Circumstances beyond our control may increase the cost of your holiday, i.e. customs charges and euro/dollar/pound variations, cancelled ferries. We will of course try our best to keep this from happening.
If you cancel: -
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing with the following options: -
(a) 60 days or more from departure, full refund, less £50 administration fee.
(b) 30-60 days 50% of tour cost.
(c) Less than 30 days no refund.
*Where shipping to the US is involved, we reserve the right to not refund the shipping price if we cannot fill the space in the container. However, a full refund less a £50 admin fee will be given if we can fill the available space*
If we cancel: -
We reserve the right to cancel a tour but will only do so in exceptional circumstances.
In this situation we will endeavour to find an alternative, if this is not possible or acceptable we will offer a full refund.
We will not accept responsibility for or offer compensation due to circumstances beyond our control.
Transfer of booking: -
In the event of you having to cancel a transfer of booking to another person is ok but this will incur a small administration fee (£50).
Our responsibilities:-
We accept responsibility for providing tours as described in our website but we cannot be held responsible for any deficiencies in local conditions, road maintenance or weather.
Your responsibilities:-
Unchained Tours Ltd shall not be responsible for any injuries however received. We require that you have adequate personal accident insurance including medical repatriation costs. Motorcycling has inherent risks and on occasions, accidents can happen.
Unchained Tours will not be liable for any damage to your motorcycle sustained on a tour. Please remember that we will be riding on roads of varied conditions and care must be taken at all times.
All riders should ride within the capabilities of both themselves and their motorcycles, and if you are fairly new to motorcycling, please advise us before booking. We expect you to be a competent rider able to keep up with modern traffic conditions and have a motorcycle, which is fully road legal, mechanically sound and suitable to tour.
We also insist that you ride with courtesy and care, both regarding other road traffic and the other riders on the trip, and comply fully with
local traffic and legal requirements regarding road use and behaviour.
You must also have the ability to get your passenger, yourself and your motorcycle home in the event off an accident, breakdown, illness or emergency.
Documentation you need:-
You will need a valid passport and non UK residents may need a visa to visit some countries along with E111 card for emergency medical cover in EEC countries. This is available free from Post Office.
You will insurance cover for you, your pillion and motorbike including get you home in Europe. We can help find the correct insurance for the US as you usual supplier may not be able to offer this.
Adequate personal travel insurance for yourself and your pillion, which must cover you for motorcycle riding abroad.
